On Thursday, Nov. 19, at Landmark High School, the Nebo School District Adult Education program recognized 82 hard-working adults. Many were there to receive their Adult Education Secondary Diploma. There were three who passed all four sections of the General Education Degree test. All of these graduates worked hard to accomplish this amazing task.

Three of the graduates had the opportunity to address their peers during the recognition night. Ahmed Alkhafji is an immigrant from Iraq who wanted to change her life.

r

Christina Judd, who is a 50-year-old mother of four, said, “It’s never to late.” Nisha Kelly, who was married by age 16, decided that she needs this for herself and for her kids. No matter who you are or where you’re from, it is never too late to start!
