r Dear Editor,
I was pretty disappointed when the bond for the Life Center didn’t pass. I really would have liked a new library because I love reading. However, I had an idea recently.
Maybe next year the city can try to pass another bond to build just a library. It might not be as expensive, and more people might vote for it. Even if we built a bigger library than we have now, it still wouldn’t cost as much as the Life Center and there would most likely be more books. We could use a new library because our current one doesn’t have very many books. We have enough to get by, but some more would be nice. Also, people might not have to go to the surrounding cities’ libraries for books that they couldn’t find here in Spanish Fork that they really wanted. There are so many people in Spanish Fork that it’s a rare occurrence that all the books I want are there. Most of them are checked out, on hold, or damaged from so much use.
Thanks!
