r r The Week Aheadr Sewer line work on 7th North from Main Street to 1st East will continue this week and into next week. This segment of 7th North will remain closed to through traffic. Residents in this section, along the south side of 7th North will temporarily lose access to their driveways as crews work to install new sewer lines. Crews will be working from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please park around the corner as on street parking will not be permitted while crews are working in the area. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. r Next week, preparation and paving on the west side of Main Street between 4th and 5th North will begin mid-week. r Utility work will also begin next week on the east side of Main Street between 6th and 7th North. r Expected Impacts:r• 7th North will continue to be closed to through traffic from Main Street to 1st East. This work is expected to last into next week.r• Starting next week southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane between 4th and 5th North on Main Street during work hours.r• Starting next week the shoulder will be closed on the east side of Main Street between 6th and 7th North.r• Parking along Main Street is not available in areas where crews are working. r r r |

r r Project Overviewr Sanitary Sewer Line Phase – Start April 11thrCrews will install new sewer lines between 1st & 2nd South, 4th & 5th North, 5th & 6th North, 6th & 7th North, and along 7th North from Main Street to 100 East. r UDOT Main Street Rehab Phase – Start May 9thr• Reconstruct existing pedestrian ramps from 3rd South to 10thr• Add second northbound right turn lane from Main Street to 10thr• Curb and gutter work at 10th North and Main Streetr• Replace storm drain between 8th and 9th North along northbound lanesr• Reconstruct driveway approaches between 5th and 6th Northr• Replace one and a half inches of asphalt from 3rd South to 10th NorthrWork consists of replacing one and a half inches of pavement from 10th North to 3rd South along Main Street, and the addition of a second northbound right turn lane at 10th North. In addition to replacing the roadway surface, crews will reconstruct existing pedestrian ramps throughout the project. Curb and gutter, storm drain and driveway approaches will be replaced or repaired at specific locations. r During this project on-street parking will be affected in the area(s) where crews are working. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained during business hours. There may be short delays when crews are removing or replacing pavement, or trenching in front of driveway approaches. r Nighttime workrIncludes: Sewer trenching, installing sewer lines and the milling operations to remove pavement during the road rehabilitation phase. r Daytime workrIncludes: Filling and covering trenches, utility work, work to pedestrian ramps and asphalt paving operations. r Schedule is subject to change due to weather or materials availability. r r r |
