r Fifteen women with disabilities will compete Thursday for the title of Miss Inspiration 2017 in a fun-filled event.
rTheir life stories and their dreams will inspire you — and maybe make you cry. The entertaining pageant honors and celebrates the lives of women with disabilities who inspire others while facing significant life challenges.
This year’s event gives 15 very special ladies the opportunity to take center stage and inspire others in a formal yet funny and classy competition. One will be crowned Miss Inspiration. She and her four attendants will partner with cities, civic organizations and other members of “royalty” over the next two years to celebrate life in Utah and promote the image of persons with disabilities as capable and contributing neighbors and citizens.
Bring friends and family to be inspired at the “Oh, What a Beautiful Day!” Miss Inspiration 2017 pageant from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23 at the SCERA Center for the Arts, Showhouse II, 745 S, State St., in Orem.
