CR Doors holds service contest

r Local businessman Clint Robertson believes the only way to find yourself is by serving other people. Robertson is the owner of CR Doors in Springville. When he ended up with around 450 surplus blocks of hard maple, he decided the best thing to do with them would be to use them to better the community.

Robertson is holding a contest and inviting local citizens to come up with the best way to use the wood to serve others. He will give a $100 award, plus wood, to whoever has the best idea.

Robertson estimates there is $500 of good cabinet grade hardwood to be used. Ideas could include anything from scout projects to whittling classes. Get creative!

Submit your ideas to Clint@crdoors.net. The winner will be announced in next month’s Serve Daily.

“I wouldn’t be where I was today if it wasn’t for others providing service to me. If we can just lift each other up, then we’ll all be up,” Robertson said.
