SPRINGVILLE — Springville City residents enjoyed a bike ride with Mayor Child and members of the City Council at the annual Bike with the Mayor event at the Springville Civic Center on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Activities started at 9:30 am and the bike ride began at 10 am.
This event is held to promote health and wellness and to celebrate National Bike Month. The two-mile bike ride took residents on a scenic trip around the city. There was also a smaller bike ride around the block for children. Activities will include bike licensing sponsored by the Springville Police Department, free snacks, swag, bike ride at 10 a.m. and free hotdogs at 11 a.m. The splash pad opened for the season after the bike ride.
