Krystal Meldrum recently published her first book “The Organize Your Joy Workbook: How to Create Your Happiness Magic & Get Organized Too!” Many today struggle to find time for things that truly nourish them. With family, work, and community demands, life is very busy! This workbook teaches mothers how to juggle everything and have time leftover for what they want to do.

Krystal tells the story of her artistic journey – how she put her artist goals on a shelf for 15 years to raise her 6 children. Then 3 years ago she started painting again by using a 90 day log to track her hours each week. She painted 15 hours a week and her husband and children were just fine! They supported her in her goals and took over cleaning and cooking during her painting time. Now she is working with Havenlight, an art distribution company that is producing her artwork for the masses! She includes in the workbook many worksheets that will help you organize your home and design a perfect, normal day with your family!

The average American home has 20,000 to 40,000 objects. BYU’s Marriot Center has 20,000 seats, so no wonder many get overwhelmed trying to find things! Krystal teaches a simple system called the I Can Do It Organization system which helps one create a “home” for everything through 4 thinking steps which are the following: Imagine, Create Motivation, Assess Personalities, Piles and the decide the Purpose of the Room, and Note down Regions. The 4 action steps are Determine containers, Organize, Inscribe (in other words label each container), and finally train your family to maintain your organizing work.

Krystal enjoys teaching classes on organizing for church and community groups. “The Organize Your Joy Workbook” is available on Amazon in December 2018.
