Christmas came early for eight wonderful students who were recognized in front of a full crowd at the Springville City Council meeting. The Mayor Youth Awards are awarded to students in the community that exemplify hard work, determination, kindness and positivity.
Teachers and principals from Cherry Creek and Meadow Brook Elementary submitted several nominations. The following students were chosen to receive this special award presented by Councilman Jason Miller; Samantha Steiner, Cohen Wilding, Jaxon Barrett, Sawyer Mayberry, Paityn Hunter, Bennet Scott and Lydia Steiner.
