Cheryl Simkins passed away on April 18, 2022 in Springville, Utah. She was born June 26, 1948 in Tooele, Utah. She was the only child of Melio and Faye Randall Petricig.
Cheryl was an avid reader who enjoyed reading a good mystery or adventure book. If she wasn’t reading a good book, she was enjoying her crosswords and word searches while eating Baskin Robbins chocolate chip ice cream.
Cheryl had a soft spot for animals and always enjoyed caring for her kitties, all of which were rescues in need of some love and a home.
Cheryl enjoyed the simple life. She always believed in taking repose in a life that was crazy and hectic. One of her favorite things to do was to sit outside in her back yard during the fall and feel the autumn sun on her face while listening to the breeze blow through the corn stalks.
