George Emil Nelson 1935-2022
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather and friend was
called home on May 31, 2022 after complications from a recent surgery.
George was born on October 6, 1935 to Emil and Eva Nelson in Shelley, Idaho. He married Maurene Armstrong on November 5, 1954 in the Idaho Falls temple. Together they had 6 children.
The years they spent together were filled with love, laughter and many experiences. George is survived by their 6 children, Lynn (Ramona) Nelson, Kerry (Arlene) Nelson, Blaine (Joyce) Nelson, Dean Nelson, Kjristi (Robby) Lee, Dustin (Julie) Nelson. He has 23 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
George is proceeded in death by his wife, Maurene, and his parents.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday June 4, 2022 at 2pm at Payson City Cemetery (4th North and 8th East Payson, Utah). Viewing will be held at Legacy Funeral (3595 North Main Street Spanish Fork, Utah) from 12:30pm- 1:30pm.
