United Way of Utah County is proud to announce the opening of its new community resource, the United Way Center – Payson. The center is generously funded by the Revere Health Foundation, and is set to become a beacon of hope and advancement for the Payson community.

The center aims to address the pressing needs related to health outcomes, mental health support, and educational opportunities for residents facing financial constraints.

The opening of the United Way Center – Payson is a strategic response to the needs of a community where 50% of students are recipients of free or reduced lunch programs. This center is designed to be a hub for classes and events that will benefit both children and adults, providing them with the tools and support needed to thrive.

Bill Hulterstrom, President and CEO of United Way of Utah County, expressed excitement for the project.

“We are thrilled to have Revere Health as a strong partner in this project,” Hulterstrom said. “They have shown over many years of dedicated partnership a phenomenal commitment to giving back, and Revere Health has chosen yet again to invest in making our community a better place for everyone.”

The Revere Health Foundation’s generous funding has been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition, showcasing their dedication to improving the lives of Utah County residents. The foundation’s support reflects a shared vision of a healthier, more educated, and resilient community.

The United Way Center – Payson will officially open its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this coming June. The ribbon cutting will be followed by an open house where community members can learn more about the services and programs that will be offered. The center will feature a variety of resources, including mental health services, educational programs and health and wellness activities, all aimed at empowering residents and fostering a stronger community.

United Way of Utah County is dedicated to changing lives and building stronger communities by focusing on the building blocks of education, financial stability and health. For more information about our work and how to get involved, visit unitedwayuc.org.
