It’s time again for Springville Rotary Club’s annual Sunday in the Park. Each year the Springville Rotary Club hosts an amazing car show, complete with a mouthwatering steak dinner and a huge raffle drawing with many great prizes. This is the club’s biggest fundraiser of the year, raising money for scholarships, local and international service, and much more. Admission to the car show is free, and you can expect to see over 200 of the nicest, coolest cars, trucks, jeeps and other vehicles around.

Local resident and expert Jerry Faulkner runs the car show, and he truly makes it a success.  Also joining the show again this year is announcer and DJ JC Hackett, who provides the oldies and other great music for visitors to enjoy while walking through the park looking at all the cars.

You’ll want to come to the park hungry because from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Rotary Club will cook ribeye steaks and hamburgers that are fresh from Springville Meats Company and served with Harward Farms corn, baked potato, salad and dessert. Meals are $25 for a steak dinner and $15 for hamburger/hotdog meal.

Finally, Rotary Club is grateful for the many sponsors, local businesses and individuals who have donated prizes for the raffle drawing that happens at the end of the day. Come ready to purchase tickets and win! Dinner and raffle tickets can be purchased at the gate or from any Rotary Club member.

Come join Springville Rotary Club for the 40th Annual Sunday in the Park, Sunday August 18th, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. It promises to be a great day!
