Jade Andersen has beenbrappointed the Assistant Principal of Spanish Fork High by the Nebo School Boardbrof Education, starting in January.

Andersen earned his bachelor’sbrdegree in Special Education from Brigham Young University and his master’sbrdegree in Education with an Administration Endorsement from Southern UtahbrUniversity. For the past two years, Andersen has served as the Dean of Studentsbrat Springville High; and previously he served as the Dean of Students at MaplebrMountain High for four years.

Andersen served as a teacherbrof a behavior unit comprised of students who were classified with emotionalbrdisturbance at the district Sunrise Program, where he taught all subject areas,brincluding math, English, science, history, social skills, and behaviorbrmodification for six years.

Anderson had been lauded as abrbright, capable person with a fun, energetic personality who is well respectedbrby students, parents, peers, and staff. He enjoys interacting with students inbrthe halls and attending extracurricular events. Anderson is comfortable meetingbrwith distressed parents and working through their concerns.
