June 13, 1962-July 3, 2023

A mother’s love is the most unconditional and the purest form of love.

A piece of our hearts will forever be empty with the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mom, and grandmother, Denise Marilyn Bartholomew.

Denise returned to her Heavenly Father on the morning of July 3, 2023 at her home in Benjamin, UT which she shared with the love of her life, Jim, for 43 years.

A student of Dance (tap, disco, & drill team), Music (choir, piano, & organ), and Theater, Denise was a true talent beyond words.

Through her life, she used her talents to serve anyone and everyone that entered her life. Whether baking wedding cakes, sewing bridesmaid dresses, teaching or playing the piano/organ for various events and organizations, her goal in life was to bring happiness and care to everyone around her, exceeding in every way.

Denise poured her heart and soul into her family. She was the biggest cheerleader for her beloved husband, their 5 children, and 6 grandchildren.

Denise was preceded in death by her son, Richard Dean, her dear parents, Dean and Marilyn Fullmer, Jim’s parents, Oral and June Bartholomew, as well as three sisters-in-law.

Her enduring kindness and spirit are kept alive by her dearest Jim; children, Michelle (Brian) Sheets, Shari Anne (Anthony) Hunter, JayDee (Brittany) Bartholomew, Blake Bartholomew (Amber Smith); grandchildren who were the light of her life, Alida Dawn, Daphne, Malcom, Valetta “Lulu”, Clark Kent, and Bruce Wayne; and her sisters, Andrea, Deena, Heather, and Sara.

Denise’s legacy is one of joy, love, and service that we hope those who love her will carry with them and share throughout the rest of their lives until we one day meet with Denise again.

Instrument of Spring

Breathtaking Silence

Ballet of petal & wing

Perceived still by your grace

Unrecognizable to all but I

Calmly painted Radiance

Comforting, Silent, Butterfly
