Energize your season of gratitude with sweet folk rock tunes at the Acoustic Autumn Live Concert on November 9 at the Angelus Theatre in Spanish Fork. Singer/Songwriter, Tate Gifford, voted one of the top three best local bands in Utah County, has put together an uplifting musical night, starting the season right.

Gifford has been singing since he was about the size of his great grandpa’s guitar that he’d strum while belting out tunes. Finally bigger than the guitar, he picked it up in seventh grade for a music class and hasn’t put it down since. Among some of his favorite performances are sharing his songs at multiple High School assemblies in the state for the Hope Squad Foundation, promoting kindness and suicide prevention.

Deborah Bonner, of the renowned music group “The Bonner Family,” reached out to personally invite Gifford to attend their summer music camp in Salt Lake City for talented music songwriters and performers, offering him a full scholarship to do so. Deborah’s son, who is also a singer/songwriter, spoke highly of Gifford.

“Tate is a breath of fresh air,” Yahosh said. “He has such a great genuine spirit full of love for music and the people he performs for. You can tell with every song he sings, he has a real connection to it and it has you immediately engaged in his performance.”

Curtis Gordon (Curt), of Paradox Entertainment and Angelus Theatre Curator, met Gifford several years ago while at Boothe Brothers. He said that Gifford reminds him of his “glory days” in the 90’s where “the Provo music scene was super.”

“There were venues like Pier 54, Wrapsody, the Soul Kitchen. That scene was created by young people who went out and played their own music anywhere they could,” Gordon said. “Tate has that same real energy. Tate is a solid producer but his music is his real art. His songs are heartfelt and inspiring in the vein of Folk Rock. He has a clean, strong, baritone voice and great ability and deliberation on his guitar.”

Acoustic Autumn Live Concert features Tate Gifford along with local talented singer/ songwriters Phillip Enkey and Joshua Brunson. Each artist will be taking the stage to perform their own songs; giving your ears a feast with a large helping of folk pop flavor, dash of alternative rock seasoning, and a sprinkle of favorite song covers to lift your spirits.

“In this day and age where we’re glued to our dark screens, It’s refreshing and important to keep that human energy alive with open air concerts, shows, gigs, or whatever the kids are saying,” Gordon said. “We’re excited to, once again, stage Tate Gifford’s upcoming Acoustic Autumn Concert on November 9 at the Angelus Theatre in Downtown Spanish Fork.”

Get out and support some amazing local musicians this November 9 from 7:30-9:00 pm.

Tickets are available online through the Angelus Theatre or at the door.  You can also listen to and support Tate Gifford on various social media and music platforms.
