Payson City, in partnership with Mountain View Hospital, is excited to announce that acclaimed country music artist Aaron Watson will perform a free community concert as part of this yearās Golden Onion Days celebration.
The concert will take place on Thursday, September 3 at the Peteetneet Outdoor Amphitheater (10 N 600 E).Ā Gates open at 5 p.m. and the concert begins at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. No tickets are required.
Known as one of country musicās most successful independent artists, Aaron Watson has spent more than two decades building a devoted following through authentic storytelling, high-energy performances, and a commitment to country roots. His latest album, āHorse Named Texas,ā released earlier this year, continues that legacy while connecting with a new generation of fans.
Golden Onion Days has long been a highlight of the year in Payson, featuring a parade, races, car show, carnival, and live entertainment that bring residents and visitors together. The addition of a performer like Watson continues the festivalās tradition of offering memorable experiences for the whole community.
