Utah’s OSR Homesteading Festival Returns to Inspire Greater Self-Reliance
Utah’s first and only off-grid homesteading community, Riverbed Ranch, is proudly hosting the 2025 OSR (Operation Self-Reliance) Homesteading Festival this coming June. This immersive three-day event invites families, backyard homesteaders and gardening enthusiasts to discover a wealth of knowledge for self-reliant living. The event will include engaging presentations, ranch tours and visits with our off-grid residents that are living the dream!
The OSR Homesteading Festival offers a diverse lineup of educational sessions led by pioneering experts. Attendees can explore topics such as, How To Grow Food As If Your Life Depended On It by the LDSPrepper, David Gillmore; Ancient Grains with Greg Hall; Regenerative Agriculture by Shannon Brooks; Backyard Herbalist by Sue Gillmore; Master Butcher Keith Mitchell; and The Healing Power of Herbs with Sarah Vezzani. There will be many other homesteading topics, along with guided ranch tours. These presentations are designed to empower beginners and seasoned homesteaders alike with practical tools to build self-sufficient, sustainable lifestyles.
