Gordo’s Fun Farm is a fun and family-friendly destination.

If you’re looking for a diverse, family run, friendly, cozy fall destination to visit, look no further than Gordo’s Fun Farm in Spanish Fork.

When you pull up to Gordo’s you are greeted by a small produce stand selling everything from local pumpkins and eggs, to homemade fall decorations. You do not need to even go into the farm to purchase from the stand if that is your preference.

Once driving down the well-maintained dirt road, there is plenty of parking for all shapes and sizes of vehicles. After parking, you make your way to the front of the park where friendly employees are waiting to help you into the farm. I came with my husband, four children, and my parents. The farm is very open, allowing me to watch my two of my youngest children who immediately dove into the large hay-lined corn box, while also keeping an eye on my oldest children who dashed off to the many slides and play sets around the farm. As a mom, this made things less stressful, since I could, for the most part, quickly scan the majority of the activity areas to spot my children.

There are slides of all shapes and sizes for the children to play on at Gordo’s Fun Farm. From short slides perfect for toddlers, to tall fast ones that even adults can enjoy, there is something for everyone. There are also a myriad of activities to choose from. A music making wall with everyday items turned into music makers, to corn hole, tether ball, tug of war and even farm equipment to climb inside and explore. My children loved running from activity to activity getting hands on experiences.

The petting zoo at Gordo’s Fun Farm was a delight, with traditional farm animals including pigs, goats, chickens and miniature pony as well as some more exotic animals. My daughters in particular loved the darling Highland cow while my boys were captivated by the giant tortoise and Jurassic looking emus.

The corn maze was, in my opinion, the perfect size and difficulty for our motley crew. It was big enough and challenging enough for my older children to work through while also being manageable enough for my toddler to finish without begging for rides. Gordo’s Fun Farm nailed the perfect balance of size and scope in this corn maze.

The tractor ride was a fun little jaunt that my children loved taking. And the parent powered roller coaster was a hit, though that might have just been them loving seeing their mom and dad huff and puff to pedal the power needed to get them up the hill. We also loved all of the little photo opp spots set up throughout the park at Gordo’s Fun Farm. From silly displays where you could stick your face in the cut out, to more Instagram friendly shabby chic spots complete with lights, there were ample places and opportunities to snap those pictures for posterity or social media.

There were a few vendors, a small charm bracelet and necklace stand run by local girls fundraiser, a soda stand, popcorn, cotton candy and locally made goods like darling crochet cows, pre-carved pumpkins, and many other locally made crafts to choose from. There were, of course, pumpkins, gourds and corn stalks in all shapes, sizes and colors that Gordo’s Fun Farm is famous for.

If you’re looking for a cozy, down home feeling, fun farm to take your family to, Gordo’s Fun Farm is a hidden gem that you do not want to miss.

Check them out at 5746 S 3200 W St. If you don’t have time to squeeze it into your busy fall schedule, not to worry! They are open in the winter with family fun activities to enjoy even when the snow is falling, as well as during Daisy Days in the summer!

Serve Daily is a great local newspaper full of uplifting stories. We've advertised the Elk Ridge City Celebration in SD the last two years. Chris is a pleasure to work with and his rates are reasonable.
