The community-driven campaign focuses on giving back through acts of kindness everyday for 12 days culminating in a Christmas surprise for four local families This holiday season, BRD Pest Solutions went above and beyond to make a difference in their community with their heartwarming “12 Days of Service” campaign. From December 14th to December 25th, the local pest control company focused on serving those in our community by offering 12 days of kindness and support to neighbors in need.
Each day of the campaign, BRD Pest Solutions dedicated their time and resources to making life a little brighter for individuals and families in the community. Their efforts included delivering meals to the homeless, showing appreciation for local first responders, and offering acts of goodwill to essential workers who serve the area year-round.
Some highlights of the “12 Days of Service” included:
Bringing Chicken Sandwiches to the Homeless: On one of the campaign’s service days, BRD Pest Solutions partnered with Chick-Fil-A in Spanish Fork to bring much-needed meals to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Teaming up with Riley’s Taste of Sunshine: BRD Pest Solutions worked alongside Riley’s Taste of Sunshine to provide refreshing drinks to local school teachers-offering hydration and a much-needed break during busy workdays.
Lunch for Local Firefighters: On another day, the team delivered lunch to the dedicated firefighters at the local fire station as a token of gratitude for their hard work and bravery.
“We wanted to focus on serving those who do so much for our community, whether it’s the people working on the front lines or the ones who are often overlooked,” said [Dawson Scott], owner of BRD Pest Solutions. “The holidays are a time to give back, and we knew we could make an impact by showing up for the people who make this community great.”
The campaign culminated on Christmas Day, when BRD Pest Solutions revealed the final chapter of their 12 Days of Service. Four local families, selected through community nominations, were treated to a special Christmas surprise, including pest control services, holiday gifts, and a warm meal. These families, who had been facing hardships throughout the year, received an outpouring of support that made their Christmas morning extra special.
“We were so moved by the nominations we received, and it was an honor to be able to bless these families with a little extra joy,” said [Lexie]. For us, the real gift was seeing the smiles on their faces as they opened their doors to something unexpected and kind.”
Inspired by the success of their holiday campaign, BRD Pest Solutions is already planning future acts of kindness and is now inviting others in the community to replicate the initiative for Valentine’s Day. The company is calling this new effort the “6 Days of Love and Service,” and hopes to continue spreading kindness by serving those who could use a little extra support during the season of love.
We’d love to see others in the community join us for the next campaign,” said [Lexie). “It’s about spreading love, showing appreciation, and making sure that everyone feels valued. We encourage local businesses, organizations, and individuals to come together to make a difference this Valentine’s Day.” We challenge you to participate for a chance to win a $500 prize in our Drawing!
BRD Pest Solutions’ “12 Days of Service” campaign is a shining example of how businesses can use their platform to serve and uplift the people around them. With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, it’s clear that this spirit of giving will continue to inspire future acts of kindness.
