Teacher of the Month: Katie Chadwick at Brookside Elementary

Ms. Katie Chadwick is a truly deserving recipient of the Nebo School District 2025–2026 Teacher of the Year recognition. As a special education teacher at Brookside Elementary, she exemplifies dedication, compassion, and excellence in education.

Katie’s unwavering commitment to her students is evident in everything she does. She approaches each child with incredible patience, kindness, and a calm presence that helps students feel safe, supported, and capable of success. She believes in the potential of every learner and works tirelessly to help each student reach their highest potential.

What sets Katie apart is her continual desire to grow as an educator. She is always seeking new and innovative ways to improve learning, adapting her instruction to meet the unique needs of her students and ensuring they have every opportunity to succeed. Her positive influence extends beyond the classroom, inspiring both her students and colleagues through her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for others.

We are so lucky to have her here at Brookside Elementary!
