Capital Community Bank has kicked off its annual Choose Your Charity Contest, which allows individuals and families to help CCBank make a difference in the community by nominating their favorite charity for a $2,000 contribution from the bank. The contest runs through Monday, December 31, when the bank will then announce the nonprofit that will receive the charitable contribution this holiday season. To nominate a charity, community members can go to www.CCBankUtah.com/ChooseYourCharity and fill out the short form.

“Nonprofits do such important work in our community, and we know that financialrsupport during this time of year is critical to their mission of helping those in need,” explains Mike Watson, CCBank’s CEO. “This is our fourth year running our Choose Your Charity contest, and past recipients include Best Friends Animal Society, Provo Promise, Children’s Service Society of Utah, Bateman Horne Center, and Acacia Shade. We are looking forward to seeing who the community nominates over the next few weeks and selecting this year’s recipient.”

CCBank has branches in Orem, Provo, Salem, Sandy and Pleasant Grove, Utah.
