r The Nebo School Board of Education has appointed David Gneiting as the American Disabilities Act and civil rights coordinator for Nebo School District.
Gneiting has worked in Nebo School District for the past 12 years as the risk manager. He was employed before that by the Utah School Boards Association for nine years in the same capacity. Gneiting received his bachelor’s degree in occupational health safety and his master’s degree in public administration, both from Brigham Young University.
A colleague said, “David is a valued and dedicated employee and always has the district’s and employees’ best interests in mind. He is thorough when following up on an issue and puts in countless hours, early in the mornings and late nights, to meet deadlines and to ensure accuracy. David brings a calming presence and people are drawn to him.”
Gneiting believes, “Be fair, be kind and be patient. Look for the good all around you and in others. Don’t tell yourself stories and always be willing to help others.”
