If you have always wanted to be a part of a Lamb of God production, this is your opportunity! We have had two exceptional Easter season presentations (2024 and 2025) and are gearing up for our 2026 Easter season performances. South Canyons Chorus and Orchestra was formed in January of 2024 to present Lamb of God for the first time in south Utah County. Because of overwhelming audience response and the opportunities it provided to local musicians, the decision was made to become a 501-c-3 organization.
Our purpose is two-fold: To provide high quality, engaging musical performances for our audiences right here in our neck of the woods, and to offer south Utah County and surrounding area musicians the opportunity to participate in large choral/orchestral works.
“Our cities are filled with so much talent, and we want to capitalize on this,” said Ingrid Bolz, founder of South Canyons Chorus and Orchestra. “Our vision is to offer families a yearly Easter experience that tells in a beautiful, impactful way the true Easter story. We think this can be an amazing uniting experience for all Christian denominations in our communities as well. We all honor Jesus Christ’s incredible gift to the world.”
We invite choral singers, vocal soloists, and orchestra instrumentalists to join us! Placement auditions will take place at the new Payson High School (271 West 800 South Payson) in the choir and band/orchestra rooms.
Times and dates are as follows:
November 13, 14, 7 – 9 p.m.: Chorus and Orchestra Auditions
November 15, 1 – 5 p.m.: Soloist Auditions
November 20, 7 – 9 p.m.: Narrator Auditions

Performances will be April 1, 2, 3 and 5 (2026) at 7 p.m., at Payson High School Auditorium
Rehearsals will take place Thursday evenings beginning Jan. 15, 2026, from 7 – 9 p.m.
Sunday evening choir rehearsals will also be offered. We’d love to have you join us!
