$2231 raised for Make A Wish Foundation by MNJHS LIA

The Mount Nebo Jr. High LIA (Latinos in Action) collected a total of 2,231 Santa letters from Barnett Elementary, Taylor Elementary, Wilson Elementary, and Mt Nebo Jr High to deliver to Macys Department store during the month of December! We even surpassed our goal of 1500 letters. Along with all the other LIA in our district, a total of about 10,000 letters were submitted.

Macy’s Letters To Santa Campaign donates $1 per letter to Make A Wish Foundation, up to $1 million. All money raised goes towards helping grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses. Because of the MNJHS Latinos In Action commitment and dedication to collecting letters from surrounding elementary schools, $2,231 was raised. We are so proud of our students and their excellence in service.
