FitCity Center is a new community fitness center coming to Spanish Fork. Slated to open in late fall/early winter, this unique facility will meet several community needs under one roof.
The fitness center itself will offer a large range of weight training and cardio equipment, an inclined indoor track around the upper level, as well as an outdoor deck with beautiful views of the mountains. A large indoor gymnasium with basketball courts and pickleball courts are available for use by FitCity Center patrons. An indoor play area is also available with a child watch overseen by trained professionals for those who are balancing caregiving and their health goals.
Personal trainers will also be available on site for those who are interested in more personalized fitness support.
And if having fitness trainers at your disposal isn’t enough, the center will offer multiple classes taught by quality instructors for those who enjoy the energy and camaraderie of instructor-led fitness options.
The center also has state-of-the-art indoor aquatic facilities that can serve patrons year-round. With a 10-lane, Olympic-sized competition pool that has a 400-seat spectator section, large LED scoreboard and fixed starting blocks, the pool is ready for competitive swimmers of all levels.
In addition to the fitness-ready pool, there is a lazy river, water accented play features, a slide with a catch pool and a large program pool. A dive tank with a unique diving platform and rock climbing wall are other highlights of this facility. The outdoor pool boasts a tower with three high speed slides, a splash pad, program pool, and massive lazy river. There is a large outdoor pavilion that can be rented out for private events. If you’re looking to level up your aquatics skills, you can do so there with swimming lessons for all ages and abilities and aquatic fitness classes. No matter what your skill level, there’s a pool in FitCity for you.
The FitCity Center will also be the new home of the Spanish Fork Senior Center. This new center boasts a larger kitchen and several rooms for events and classes. An art studio with a kiln is just one of the many hidden gems that community members will be able to enjoy, with art Instructors also offering a variety of mediums including drawing, crafts, and quilting.
