r Park Elementary is a Leader in Me school. Park was one of the first Leader in Me schools, and this was their Eighth Annual Leadership Day celebration. The students, faculty, and staff study and practice Stephen Covey’s 7 habits: be proactive, begin with the end in mind, put first things first, think win-win, seek first to understand then to be understood, synergize, and sharpen the saw.
Leadership Day is a special day for Park student leaders. The students celebrate with community leaders and showcase their leadership at the school through a variety of activities through their art, song, music, dance, and performing. Student leaders greeted visitors and gave speeches. Students have the opportunity to be a leader at Park Elementary.
