Spanish Fork to open new park

r Spanish Fork City Parks and Recreation has announced the grand opening of a new park in the city. Sierra Park, located at 130 N. 1960 East (north of Sierra Bonita Elementary School), is a seven-acre park complete with restrooms, two shade structures, picnic tables, benches, a walking path, open fields and an interactive playground. The playground will have a component for 2- to 5-year-olds as well as structures for 5- to 12-year-olds. It also includes two triangle shade sails.

A grand opening ceremony and celebration will be held Monday, May 9, at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to celebrate this exciting new amenity in the community.
