r By Craig NormanrSpringville City’s Hobble Creek Grounds Superintendent Chris Jensen has been with the city for more than 43 years and will retire the end of the month. Steve Braun has been involved with the greens and maintenance crew at Hobble Creek Golf Course for more than 30 years and will also retire the end of the month.rJensen, Braun and Kelly Giles (who retired earlier this year with 29 years of service) have a combined 102 years of service to Hobble Creek Golf Course and Springville City. They are part of the reason Hobble Creek Golf Course has earned a Golf Digest 4½ stars rating and is one of the best golf courses in the state. The city wishes them well in their future endeavors and thanks them for their years of service to our community.
