Early in the morning on Jan. 15, our dad, Mark Pulham, joined our baby sister in heaven with his family surrounding his bedside. Our hearts are broken for our loss but are healing with the knowledge he once again has his baby girl in his arms.
Dad was born June 18, 1955 in Salt Lake City to Monatgue and Rhea Pulham. He had 14 older siblings and one baby brother that would come three years later.
Dad married the love of his life, our mom, Gay Davis, on Oct. 4, 1974 and they were sealed for time and all eternity on Jan. 24, 1976. Together they had us three brats Mark, Kristy, Bowdy and one angel baby Tia.

Dad spent his youth and childhood in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School where he was a member of the marching band and was able to travel as far as Canada. Mom and dad lived in a few different places their first year of marriage before settling in Santaquin.
Dad lived his life with joy and adventure and loved spending time in the outdoors. His weekends were spent either in the mountains on a horse or side by side, or at a rodeo- whether for himself or supporting his kids and grandkids. If you couldn’t find him in the mountains you would be sure to find him in the arena roping and getting ready for the next rodeo or jackpot or under a horse making sure their hooves were trimmed and their shoes were tight. His family was his world and being a grandpa was his greatest joy. He rarely, if ever, missed an orchestra concert, band concert, dance recital, ball game or a rodeo. Dad loved to take pictures and never missed an opportunity to document the lives of his family.
Dad was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved his Savior with all that he had. He served in many callings from primary to Elders Quorum to High Priest Group, but the calling he loved most was in scouting where he could be with his boys. He reached many lives through his involvement in scouting and was a leader and mentor to many. We are sure there are lives he touched and boys he helped learn valuable life skills that we will never know about.
The most important example our dad ever could’ve shown us was the way he loved our mom. He put her on a pedestal and kept her there the entire time they were married. His first concern was always her and he always made sure she knew how much he loved her. He loved her with everything that he had and that love goes beyond the veil. Theirs was a true fairytale love story.
Dad is survived by the love of his life Gay Pulham, and his three thorns in his side Mark (Heidi) Pulham of Springville, Kristy (Eric) James of Santaquin, and Bowdy Pulham of Mona. His eleven plus one grandchildren whom his world revolved around and three brothers, two sisters, one brother in law and one sister in law.
Dad was preceded in death by his perfect angel girl Tia, his parents, his parents in law whom he loved dearly Sterling and Leora Davis and several brothers and sisters, both biological and through marriage.
Dad did not live his life in fear and we will continue to follow his example.

Chris is one of the nicest people I know. Serve Daily is his motto, and also his wonderful publication. The stories are informative, entertaining, and it's so much fun to occasionally see people I actually know featured. Every time I see the paper, my spirits are lifted and I am reminded to Serve Daily. Thanks Chris!

Serve Daily is a great local newspaper full of uplifting stories. We've advertised the Elk Ridge City Celebration in SD the last two years. Chris is a pleasure to work with and his rates are reasonable.
