All local singers and musicians across Utah Valley are invited to gather and perform in the 6th annual “Songs of Gratitude” program, hosted by the Utah Valley Choir of Family Friendly Performers.
The annual concert will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the meetinghouse chapel located at 400 N. 400 E. in Springville.
Choir Rehearsal Schedule: Participation requires a short commitment of weekly Sunday evening rehearsals throughout October, leading up to the November performance:
Weekly Rehearsals: Sundays in October from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (starting October 4). Participants are encouraged to attend as many rehearsals as possible.
Dress Rehearsal & Potluck: Saturday, October 31, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A shared family lunch will follow the dress rehearsal (participants should bring enough food for their family plus a dish to share).
Choir Member Guidelines: The choir welcomes individuals of all faiths aged 12 and older who can match pitch, control vibrato, blend voices, read English, and follow directorial instructions. Rehearsals are drop-in friendly—simply attend the Sunday rehearsals to join.
Solo & Ensemble Auditions: Instrumentalists, vocalists, and small ensembles wishing to perform a solo or feature piece during the program are invited to audition between 6:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. before any Sunday rehearsal in October. Performance pieces should be positive, encouraging, joyful, or uplifting. Vocalists and instrumentalists requiring accompaniment must bring their own accompanist. Solo performers are not required to sing in the full choir.
